Join us to raise funds for the dogs in our community!
Art and animal lovers come together for an evening featuring photography of adopted senior canine artists, live and silent auctions and special raffles this April 21 at the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts.
Enjoy an open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres and music by local saxophonist Rob Thompson.
Through the use of an ArtsinStark micro-grant, we bathed specially selected senior canines in an edible mix of water, food coloring, and cornstarch then allowed them to splatter canvases. Photographer David Baio of David Baio Photography, captured each session, thereby creating two works—both as unique as the dogs themselves. These photos and some of the canvases will be auctioned at the event.
All funds raised will be used to promote the adoption of homeless pets, low-cost spay/neuter programs
and highlight the work of animal rescue organizations in our area.
